I really enjoyed reading about how they prayed before they ate. I've done that only once in my life and I felt like if the food was even better since it was blessed. There was one thing I can relate to this, when they eat with the t.v turned on. My family always eats and watches t.v at the same time. Sometimes the dinner we eat isn't food my mom or dad makes. They end up buying pizza or buying Panda Express since its my mom's favorite. The imagery that the guy uses in this memoir is realistic. I can imagine him and his family doing the stuff he says. For example: when they bow down there head and how he describes the new addition they made to there house.
